To update OpenManage Server Agent 4.0 or OpenManage Hardware Instrumentation Package 3.5.2 on Microsoft Windows 2000 Server Family operating system or on the Microsoft Windows NT Server operating system run the "UpdHapi.exe" update program.

Using either the MS-DOS command line or Microsoft
Windows Explorer, run "UpdHapi.exe."

Running "UpdHapi.exe" replaces the
file "dcchapi32.dll" on your system with the
updated file.

To update the Dell OpenManage HIP 3.5.2 on Novell NetWare systems running operating system version 4.x or 5.x, perform the following steps:

1. At the command prompt, unload "dcbase.nlm".
2. At the command prompt, unload "dchapi32.nlm".
3. Copy "dchapi32.nlm" from "dchapi03\dommn\nw_node" to the
"sys:systems" directory.
4. At the command prompt, load "dchapi32.nlm".
5. At the command prompt, load "dcbase.nlm".

To update the Dell OpenManage Server Agent 4.0 on Novell NetWare
systems running operating system version 4.x or 5.x, perform the
following steps:

1. At the command prompt, run "dcstop".
2. Copy " dchapi32.nlm" from " dchapi03\domsa\nw_node" to the
"sys:systems" directory.
3. At the command prompt, run "dcstart".
