Dell Update Packages (DUP) in Microsoft Windows 64bit format will only run on Microsoft Windows 64bit Operating Systems. When selecting a device driver update be sure to select the one that is appropriate for your operating system.
1. Please note: The "Preserve Configuration" switch (-c 1) should not be used if flashing from a BMC firmware version earlier than 1.14. Doing so could result in Power Input/Output Consumption sensors not be added appropriately so that the feature to get PSU Input/Output Consumption will be not workable. 2. The released file s81kxxxM.bin is used for: i. Use socflash.exe under DOS to update. ii. Use flash writer to pre-program FW into flash before mount on MB in Factory. 3. The release file s81kxxx.bin is used for upgrading BMC firmware by using web console or kcsflash utility. i. Before using web console or kcsflash utility to upgrade firmware, please make sure the MB fru is exist in the EEPROM. ii. After finished firmware upgrade, please do AC off and AC on process. 4.
