NVRAM Patch:
1. Configure the communications application program for a DTE rate of between 9600 bps and 115200 bps and hardware
flow control enabled (RTS/CTS flow control).
2. Initiate the download process using the AT** command. The ¡§Download initiated ..¡¨ message appears upon issuing the
AT** command.
3. Send the latest USB loader (USBLOAXX.S37 file) in ASCII or text mode. Once the modem is ready to download the
patch file it will out put the message ¡§Upload NV_ram Data ..¡¨
4. Send the latest controller patch file (F105XX.ptc) in ASCII or text mode. Once the patch is loaded, the modem will
respond with ¡§Upload successfully completed¡¨
Patch Loading Verification:
To verify the modem has successfully loaded the patch, send the command AT-PV. The modem should return the
patch version which consists of 3 bytes (example: F10548).
