Installation instructions
Download
1. Click the Download File link to download the supplemental pack ISO
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
Installation
1. Mount the iso using the command mount -o loop /mnt
2. cd to the /mnt directory and run ./install.sh
3. For VUM based installs, Select the ESXi host. Click Update Manager, Admin view, Patch Repository, Import Patches and follow the online instructions to upload the patch successfully. The offline bundle is displayed.
4. Unzip the offline bundle to extract the vib and metadata.zip. Use the vib to install Server Administrator software on the desired ESXi host.
# esxcli software vib install -d=< .ZIP file of Openmanage Vib >
