Procedure

  1. Turn the palm-rest assembly over and place it on a clean and flat surface.
  2. Remove the power-button board cable through the slot on the palm-rest assembly.
  3. Remove the screw that secures the power-button board to the palm-rest assembly.
  4. Slide and remove the power-button board along with its cable from under the tab on the palm-rest assembly.
