Procedure

  1. Remove the screw that secures the hard-drive assembly to the side-chassis.
  2. Open the side-chassis.

  3. Disconnect the data cable and the power cable from the hard drive.
  4. Slide the hard-drive assembly out of the side-chassis.

  5. Remove the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.
  6. Lift the hard drive off the hard-drive bracket.
