Removing the speaker

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. WLAN card

    4. WWAN card

    5. SSD card or hard drive
    6. chassis frame

  3. To disconnect the cables:
    • NOTE: Speaker cables are disconnected to remove the chassis frame.
    1. Lift the latch and disconnect the LED board cable [1].
    2. Disconnect and unroute the speaker cable [2].
