Clearing forgotten passwords

  • NOTE: The computer must be disconnected from the electrical outlet to clear the password setting.
  1. Remove the back cover.
  2. Locate the password reset jumper (PWD) on the system board. See “ System-board components ”.
  3. Remove the jumper plug.
  4. Wait for approximately five seconds to clear the password setting.
  5. Turn on the Embedded Box PC. A message appears on your computer, indicating that the passwords are cleared.
  6. Turn off the Embedded Box PC.
  7. Replace the jumper plug.
