Removing the display assembly

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. base cover
   2. battery
   3. WLAN card
   4. WWAN card
3. To remove the display hinge brackets:
   1. Remove the screw that secures the display hinge bracket to the computer [1].
   2. Remove the display hinge bracket from the computer [2].
   
4. To disconnect the display assembly cable:
   1. Unroute the WLAN and WWAN cables from the routing channel on the system board [1].
   2. Remove the screws that secure the display assembly cable bracket to the computer [2].
   3. Remove the display assembly cable bracket to access the display assembly cable [3].
   4. Disconnect the display assembly cable from the system board [4].
   
5. To disconnect the display assembly:
   1. Remove the screws that secure the display assembly [1].
   2. Release the WWAN and WLAN cables and display assembly cable from the slot on the computer [2].
   
6. To remove the display assembly:
   1. Remove the screws that secure the display assembly to the computer [1].
   2. Open the display assembly [2] and lift the display assembly to remove it from the computer [3].
