Removing the stand

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Place the computer on a flat surface with the display side facing downwards.
  3. To release the stand:
    1. Press the tab on the cover to release the stand [1].
    2. Lift the stand upwards [2].
