Removing the WLAN card

  1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery

    2. base cover

  3. To remove the WLAN card:
    1. Loosen the captive screw [1] to remove the metal tab from the WLAN card [2].
    2. Disconnect the WLAN cables from the WLAN card [3].
    3. Using a plastic scribe, release the WLAN card from the computer [4].
    4. Disconnect the WLAN card from the connector to remove it [5].
