Procedure

  1. Lay the chassis on the side.
  2. Disconnect the power and data cables from the optical drive.
  3. Remove the screws that secure the optical drive to the chassis.
  4. Push and slide out the optical drive through the front of the computer.
    • NOTE: Repeat step 1 to step 3 to remove the secondary optical-drive, if applicable.
