Removing the Solid State Drive (SSD)

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer
  2. Remove the:
    1. Base cover

    2. battery

  3. Remove the screw that secures the solid-state drive (SSD) to the system board [1]. Then, slide the SSD out from its connector on the system board [2]. Figure showing removal of SSD from the system board.
