DDV WMI interface specification

Hello,

i dont know if this is the appropriate location to ask such a question, but i did not found a better one.

I am developing a linux kernel driver (dell-wmi-ddv) for the DDV WMI interface present on my notebook (Inspiron 3505). I have been searching for documentation regarding the interface, but to no avail. The libsmbios project also contains no information since it deals with a totally different firmware interface which has nothing to do with the DDV WMI interface. I was able to understand some parts of the interface without documentation (battery thermal sensor, ...), but for the rest this is next to impossible.

I thus want to ask if documentation regarding the DDV WMI interface is somehow available, and if yes how to find it. I am specifically interested in the layout of the fan/thermal sensor buffers, since i think it there is a general interest in reading fan/thermal sensor information on Dell notebooks.
