Inspiron 15 7567 Battery problem

Hello, i have recently replaced my original dell inspiron 7567 battery with another original one as my previous one got old (it had no issues other than low battery capacity caused by usage) and installed it on my laptop but after a week of usage, battery light started flashing amber or flashing 4 to 5 amber and then long white repeatedly and it doesnt charge. After that i reinstalled the previous old battery and the issue still persists (i used the old battery again for 2 or 3 battery cycles without any problems and now it is blinking all amber or 4 to 5 amber then long white), I have checked both batteries' healths and the old one is good, the new one is excellent health, AC adaptor is detected in the BIOS with the correct wattage.
It still sometimes charges after a restart or a hard reset (remove battery and hold on the power button for 15-20 secs). I tried running while the battery is unplugged, it runs normal without any issues, even if the battery is on and the light is blinking, computer runs normally but just doesnt charge the battery. I have checked the battery health with command prompts on cmd and it doesnt show any errors only lower max capacity for the old battery. Thanks for the help in advance

How old is the "new" battery? There will be a long alphanumeric string starting with DP/N or CN ... -- post that and someone can tell you when it was manufactured.
The other thing to try is disconnecting AC power and the battery, holding the power button for 30 sec and then reassembling the system with the new battery installed.
