Alpha i3 keeps shutting down
- Hi, new here and wondered if anyone could help.
I have an i3 alpha, and first time being switched on for about 30 minutes it shut down and wouldn't switch back on until I power drained.
Has anybody else had this problem and solved why?

RTC coin cell good? this is old PC right? Alpha i3

6 years old, RTC coin cell should be ok, but after 5years I never fail to test them no me, life too short, all that..

overheating test for that, using any app that can, HWinfo32.exe? free and safe, and all that?
TOP ONES ARE
OVERHEATING
OR PSU OVERLOAD,
BOTH CAUSE SHUT DOWN..

sure any owner of any PC , this old or older all have problems ALL do, PCs fail all do, every one does.
and with same symptoms too.
like
dead PC
dead OS or infected OS
dead HDd
overheating, never cleaned out all that lint inside, wow sure.. it can overeheat easy.
BIOS dead, video gOes dead...and huge list of other things dead. SCREENS BAD , OR UGLY...
turns self off (overheated sure will)
omg even turns self back on, you not touching ..

bad cmos battery H3GDV , weak or failing power brick I recommend the 330w unit fr the X51.
dust bunnies chewing on heatsink that needs cleaning.
