AW510K, key replacement
I also have the same problem my Alienware AW510K. Dell tech Support told me that it is not an ongoing issue with the keyboard and that my keyboard replacement is not covered. So I needed to purchase an accidental damage coverage in order for them to replace it I’ve only had it for 4 months and is still under warranty. But they keep telling me that that is not an internal issue with the keyboard. To purchase the coverage.

I purchased the Alienware AW510K Keyboard last year and the delete key has broken already. Seems to be very poor quality. What are my options here? I paid full price for this keyboard on the Dell website.
I have the exact same issues with my keyboard. The delete key and ctrl key have both done that. So incredibly disappointed with this, and the fact they do not offer key replacement via Dell. I really thought I was buying a quality product with this, but I am clearly not the only person experiencing issues with this.
I have had the exact same problem. After 2 years of using the keyboard 6 of the keys have done that. I've also been using their mice too which all have broken within about 8 months of purchasing them. I have just decided to give up on Alienware altogether. There are much better brands that make better stuff for cheaper.

They are incorrect. Dell does not provide accidental damage coverage for a keyboard. The PC accidental damage coverage has to be purchased at the original point of sale. Dell does not replace keys on a keyboard. If you purchased the keyboard from Dell and not a 3rd party seller (example Microcenter, Newegg, etc.), after you have troubleshot with the DELL-Cares agent and they have confimed that the keyboard is faulty and still under warranty, Dell would exchange it.
