Aurora R11, random stutter freeze, alt tab, games

So a couple of weeks ago my PC randomly starts getting insanely low frame drops. And it would usually trigger while I was playing a game and I would switch tabs to for example another application such as Discord. I've looked as much as possible for a solution and I can't seem to find one. This is my first time using dell community or whatever it's called. But I've tried the RAM cache, deleting and uninstalling large games that I don't need, freeing up space. And all of those things didn't work. My entire PC just seems to stutter for a good 1-3 seconds and me and my dad have tried almost everything and he recommended that I go here for some answers! So hopefully someone may be able to help me.

When I first used my R11 I noticed this stuttering too.  So I decided to change from RAID to AHCI in the BIOS.  Now I performed a clean install after changing to AHCI to get rid of unwanted programs, but you can change it without a clean install.  Several people on this forum have provided how to do that.

1. Right, it's just better. And never install Intel-RST (or whatever they call it now-days).

2. My guess is that it was this step that actually helped with the stuttering (erases all OEM and 3rd-party programs, Services, and Processes). Just plain Windows wins every-time for me.
