Aurora-R5, shutting down

My alienware aurora keeps shutting down.... sort of. When I try to do anything, be it playing a game or simply browsing the net, my alienware will shut down but the desktop lights will still be on and the graphics card fan will be pushed to its max.

Does anyone know the problem?

It sounds like the GPU is overheating. Does this happen right away or does the system have to be on for a while?

It has to be o for a little while, like 5 minutes at least

I’m having the same problem. Anytime I try to play a game it just shuts off. I’ve run Diagnostics and get a report that everything is working properly. I’ve updated all my drivers and it still continues. I can watch movies Netflix, Hulu for hours with no problem but the minute I start to play any game it shuts down after the games been running for 3 to 5 minutes.
