Aurora R10, Dual Boot, Linux?

Hi, I would like to install linux on one of the drives and was wondering if it's possible to dual boot in R10 ? What's the best way to do it ? Anyone have any experience on that or suggestions what to avoid ? Thanks

This YouTube video should help. Follow it and the procedure is quite easy.

I went crazy and tested many Linux distributions on the R10. Kali, Ubuntu, Mint, FreeBSD, PuppyLinux, etc.

Initially, I even had trouble running and installing any Linux version inside VirtualBox on this machine.

Installing Ubuntu was initially challenging - got purple and green lines trying to install 20.04.

What I had to do was to change the Secure Boot options in BIOS to Audit Mode instead of Deployment Mode.

Understand the implications before doing this - you are basically telling the Alienware BIOS that it will report Secure Boot violations, but will not actively prevent them. Unless you are a high-value target, though, I doubt you have much reason to worry.

After that, I installed Linux on different drives and drive types, and I currently have 12 VM's running inside Windows on Virtual box, and Kali running on a separate drive.

Thanks for the tips.  I got things going after changing to Audit mode.

Is audit mode anything like Legacy BIOS mode?
