Hello so I made the mistake of going with air cooling on my rig.The performance is great but when I play cod my CPU heats up to 90C. I'm looking for solutions to keep my PC cooler I could care less about noise I just want my CPU to not die out on me.
512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD
16GB Dual Channel HyperX(FM) FURY DDR4 XMP at 2933MHz
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 8GB GDDR6
AMD Ryzen(TM) 7 3700X (8-Core, 32MB L3 Cache, Max Boost Clock of 4.4GHz)
Dark side of the moon chassis with Low-Profile Smart Cooling CPU Heatsink and 550W Power Supply
@Miguelc98 and this wont mess anything up in my system?
No. This is a direct bolt-on cooler, but needs to be installed with the usual care and diligence.
Next you might consider upgrading you PSU to 850 watts (or more). This is not necessary for the H60 installation.
I just got pretty much the exact same setup, except with a 30 series.
Same here, hitting 85 C every time I play anything intensive. Did this liquid cooler work? How did the install go?
