Aurora R11, fan questions
Hello,
My Aurora R11 came in on Aug 5th. I am planning on installing 2x Corsair ML120 Pro (Non-RGB, Non- LED) as a push/pull configuration for the top fan. I was wondering where do I connect the second 4 pin connector to power it. I am replacing the stock fan and adding one. On the motherboard, there is a open 4 pin called "CPU Fan". Is that where I should connect it? Also, I am replacing the front fan with a Noctua NF- A12x25 PWM, 4 pin. Also, is there anything I should be concern?
My specs are:
Lunar Light chassis with High-Performance CPU Liquid Cooling and 1000W Power Supply
NVIDIA GeForce RTX2080 SUPER 8GB GDDR6 (OC Ready)
10th Gen Intel Core i7-10700K (8-Core,16MB Cache,up to 5.1GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology)
16GB Dual Channel HyperX(FM) FURY DDR4 XMP at 3200MHz
Killer(TM) Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 (2x2) 802.11ax Wireless and Bluetooth 5.1
1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD

For push/pull you want the fans to run at the same speed so you need a y splitter to connect both to the top fan header. Otherwise the slower fan will work against the faster fan.

PWM Y-splitter adapter cable . . . and as @r72019 said, plugged into TOP FAN header. Your CPU FAN header should be *empty*.

I ran a splitter off the front fan and the secondary fan isn’t working. When I first plugged it in, it turned on but then turned right off. The lower front fan (stock) is running around 12%. The new fan is a CORSAIR AF ELITE Series, AF120 ELITE, 120mm. Any help would be appreciated!
