Aurora R13, why do Dell set Storage Mode to RAID instead of AHCI?

Having received my new R13 machine yesterday, I was surprised that with just a single 2TB NVME they have set the storage mode to RAID. Surely this should be AHCI? Is there a reason for this that I am unaware of? I know there is a process to switch to AHCI on Windows 11 without having to re-install but I'll only change if there is going to be a benefit.

You can just switch to AHCI in the bios and windows will boot just fine. The reason it is set to RAID from Dell is that there are additional drivers needed for the RAID-mode to boot windows but not for AHCI. So if they would install windows in AHCI-mode and you then change to RAID windows wont boot.
