Aurora-R7, set the front fan speed at 50%, 24/7
just bought a new Aurora R7 i have 2 Gtx 1080 FE i use the pc for gaming and mining , so leave it running almost 24/7 how can i set the front fan to stay on between 40 or 50% 24/7 from the thermal control , as every time i set it ,it goes back to auto when ever it idles like after 5 min or so ,i have tried( fixed and curve) it always switches back to auto . the reason i wanna do this cause when mining my Gpus temps are between 70 and 74 (on auto)when i crank the fan to 45% the temp falls back to 69. keep in mind i use msiafterburner and i have the power limit set at 75, max temp 72. please advise. thanks in advance.

Try setting your AWCC like this:

Hi @Snow 11,
Try SpeedFan or HWInfo. The manual adjustment will be reset if at any point the temp goes too high or too low.

Thermal Controller to Manual and then Fixed 50% for Front Fan should work fine.
Remember you have to save to Profile to survive a reboot.

I downloaded it , but it gave me a warning that there is another program is in control of the fan speed and that it might cause conflict and possible damage (should i Unistall AW thermal control app )

What does that mean?
You are saying that the Thermal Controller is switching from Manual, back to Auto by itself :Surprise: like while you are browsing the Internet?
Or, by "Idles" do you mean a reboot happened?

What I mean by it idles ,is when I step away from the computer , but it’s still running, after like 5 min the RGB lighting on the side of the case goes off and the fans that I could (hear which’s set at 50% goes down), and when ever I move the mouse the RGB light goes back on and the fans kick back to what ever I set it to. FWI I went through the power setting couldn’t find anything.
