Aurora R9, AWCC, Ram2 enabled

Ok so I finally got around to my memory clock settings. It was disabled right out the box so yesterday I got the nerve to enabling Ram2 which now gives me close to the 2933mhz as advertised so now I'm at 2925ish , disabled was around 2392MHz. I noticed that now the voltage went from 1.20 to 1.25 volts. I remember r72019 did this to his/her R9 so I come to trust his/her decision. So my question is it good to leave the Ram2 enabled without overclocking the CPU or should I only do this when playing a game and then disabling it back to stock settings when not playing.

Yeah, I leave mine enabled at 2933, 24/7.  I think it's probably better to leave it at just one setting than to be changing it on a regular basis.  The XMP profiles are pretty safe settings for the RAM, since that is the manufacturer's own OC profile.  Where you may want to be more cautious is if you are manually setting your own timings (which I don't believe that this Dell BIOS will let you do for RAM).

Just what I needed to hear. I disabled yesterday because I was not sure but if you say so r72019 that’s good enough for me. Big thx
