2960XM Problem

I think I have a problem with the built in graphics on my M18X. When running my 6990's there is no problem, but when I use F7 to switch graphics for power saving the best resolution I can achieve is 1024 x 768. I checked the Intel website to see if my CPU supports HD graphics and it seems that only the 2920XM has this function enabled and not the 2960XM. All my drivers are upto date. Am I doing somethng wrong or is this the maximum resolution I can expect when not using my graphic cards?
