Alien Respawn with Windows 10 Pro

Has Alien Respawn been updated to work on Windows 10?  I have read several forum stating that after upgrading, respawn wasn't compatible.

Hi,

It should work with the Windows 10 supported Alienware systems. What is your Alienware model/revision?

Hi Rodrigo,  I purchased an AW15 R2 (hasn't even shipped yet) with Windows 10 Pro, Intel 6820HK, GTX 980M 8GB, 128GB M.2 SSD + 1TB 7200RPM Storage drive.

All of the current drivers and software that I have found on the Dell website states that it works on Windows 7 and 8.1 but not compatible with windows 10.

Thanks for your response.

Alienware respawn I think was replaced with Dell's normal software for non alienware computers (Dell backup and recovery?).  Technically if its installed on your new machine it should work, but you might want to use Dell's update program to make sure all the software is up to date just in case.  I also remember reading something like Dell was going to integrate everything into microsoft's own recovery refresh system, but I could have read that wrong.

Hi,

All of the system drivers and Alienware software for the Alienware 15 R2 should be compatible with Windows 10. If you go to the Dell support site, you can look up the drivers for Windows 10, just click where it says Change OS to set it to Windows 10. Like beamermt79 said, Alien Respawn is also known as Dell Backup and Recovery, click here for the latest version.
