Alien autopsy
I have the Alienware Aurora R4
in alien autopsy it says I have two virus programs running in reality I only have one there is no other virus programs of any kind other than trend Microsoft
I am a loss for words on why it says this. can anyone help.?

Hi raysz,
Check if any other antivirus is installed on the computer.
If the issue persists, uininstall and reinstall AlienAutopsy:

Well I have tried uninstalling both trend Microsoft and alien autopsy and to my surprise it did not solve this problem.
Just to see if autopsy is seeing things correctly I disabled the firewall it did notice it was disabled and i disabled antivirus program trend Microsoft and it did say they were both disabled so at least that part is working correctly but for whatever reason it sees two of them a mirror image.
And just to let you know Microsoft defense is turned off

May I know, how did you uninstall Trend micro?
Please refer the following link which has correct method to uninstall Trend micro:

Now after uninstalling the Trend micro, check the status in Autopsy.

Well I've always used the software to remove trend micro it has always done a good job.
I can try it your way and see if it works better I will let you know

Sorry it took so long to reply back.
So I tried to uninstall trend micro using their software and I also went online like you suggested and downloaded the software as well.
So why alien autopsy is seeing two of trend micro is a mystery to me.
Everything else is working perfectly it just seems to of micro trend LOL
so I can live with this thanks for your help though if you come up with a fix please let me know

For what it is worth, the AlienAutopsy antivirus conflict notice while using Trend Micro is shared by many.
I have tried all recommended support "fixes" and I am of the opinion that the OEM copy of Trend Micro is the issue.
Anyone know how to be certain the copy that came with the Alienware computer may be located and deleted if needed?
Trend Micro only offers to delete Windows Repository Folder and/or to reinstall newer version of Trend Micro Product.
