Alienware 15 (2015) upgrade

Hello everybody,

I got my new Alienware like a month ago and so far I love it. It is a really good piece of technology.

I would like to change the SSD 128Gb to an SSD 512 Gb. Is it easily doable? Does that cancel the guarantee? What kinf of SSD can fit in?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Yes, you can upgrade your SSD to a 512GB SSD. You will not void the warranty by doing this. However, if you buy the SSD from a third party company, we cannot cover any hardware issues related to that specific drive in your warranty. The SSDs that are compatible with your system are M2 SATA SSDs, type 2280.
