Alienware 15R2 turned off when entering BIOS and now wont start.

Hi,

I have an Alienware 15R2 980m i7. Earlier I turned off my computer and when I restarted I hit F2 to enter BIOS. This is a brand new system and I have never entered BIOS before, as soon as I hit F2 the laptop turned off and now it wont turn back on.

When I have the power brick plugged in the power button alternates colours but the system will not start at all.

I've tried taking out power cable, ram and pressing the 2 pins together as seen in a guide on here, I've also tried holding the power button for varying times between 20 seconds and a minute to power drain and nothing.

I'll stress here that I think I've had the laptop for less than 3 weeks, I also bought my Mrs one (which is working fine but obviously I'm not going to try enter the BIOS on it)

Any help would be appreciated.
