Alienware 17 R3 Can't Shut Down and Update Bios
Hello,
So, I just reset My Alienware in hope that the problem go away but not. My Bios is 1.2.12. Everytime I tried the laptop just restart itself. The Only way to kill it is by closing the lid and by the way the close lid setting is not shutdown but sleep.
Also, I can't update my Bios to 13, 14, or 15. Everytime, I got ROM loaded failed or something and restart.
Ok. Please help me.

Hi,
For the Bios update you can go to Device manager, find a device named: Firmware and delete it. Then try to run the Bios update again.

Can't delete the firmware as each time I reopen the Device manager, it's still there.
