Alienware 17 R3 Factory Shipped Windows 10 Downgrade Possible ?
I have the latest Alienware 17 R3 since yesterday. It shipped with Windows 10 and I hate it. All my RAM is being eaten up by it and so much slower than my old Alienware that ran 8.1
Question is even though it shipped with Windows 10 could I make any bootable USB running 8.1 and reinstall ?

Laptop was insanely slow with Windows 10. I have downgraded back to 8.1 and my RAM has dropped from 3GB usage to 1.5GB.

what do you mean all of your ram is eaten up? i have norton, samsung rapid mode, itunes servies, google services on startup and 3gb-4gb is loaded with windows 10. a major update is released in june.
what do you mean your 17 r3 is slower than previous Alienware? do you have ssd? the samsung pm951 reads at 1500Mb/s, I highly doubt you know what you are talking about.

Windows 10 is actually slower then Windows 8.1 thanks to all the bloat and mish/mashed code.
