Alienware 17 Screen upgrade to IPS

Hello all,

I've purchased an Alienware 17 and I like to upgrade its screen to the IPS LCD panel. Is it possible?

I read on one of the forums that I need only EDP cable. Is this true? Do I need to replace anything else so as for the IPS LCD screen to work?
