Alienware Area-51 R2 Motherboard?
I have been trying to find this out so that I can plan some future upgrades. Even chatted with Dell to no avail. Documentation shows everything EXCEPT motherboard installed. Searched this forum but came away without any info,... might have been me, so please forgive me if the info is out there and I missed it.
Bought in 12/2016. i7-6700k running A10 BIOS. With a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070.

I read your post twice, but didn't see an actual question ... ... ...
51s use Xtreme Intels, mainstream quad-cores like 6700k aren't an option, perhaps you meant 6800k

You are correct, I put in the wrong processor. It is a i7-6800k. So, the question is what is the motherboard?

Mine arrived 3weeks ago, it's made by MSI / Micro Star, the listing photo shows us the model number at the bottom, an MS-7862. For comparison, my Godlike x99 is an MS-7883. There's also an MSI validation sticker on your case floor if you look for it, an MSI driver at the driver support page. Wave 1 Hotwell board part numbers are XJKKD, wave 2 Bwell boards tend to be FRTKJ / 9G12C
