Alienware Aurora 980X overclocking?

Hi i just recently got my Alienware Aurora Desktop after having my system exchanged. It came with an i7-980x, which is pretty sweet but I wanted to enable the level one overclocking. When I tried setting the level 1 setting the clock didn't change from 3.33ghz which to my knowledge is stock. I tried updating the bios to current(it shipped with A08), but it still doesn't change from 3.33ghz. I'm just trying to see if there is anything I'm doing wrong here or if this is the limit to factory overclocking with this board(even though its the stock speed).

This is a picture from the Computer Properties and the BIOS reflects this same number too, even after following the steps to enable level 1 overclocking.

That screen you are in will give u the stock (rated) speed of the chip you are running.Don't know about the BIOS though. Download CPU-Z

ah ok, it seems my cpu is overclocked then even though my bios and windows says otherwise(which is strange because my 630i actually recorded the changes...). Ok then one less thing to worry about, thank you.

ouch all they did was up the multi on the unlocked multiplyer on the cpu how much did they charge you for that? That is a very easy overclock for an i7 980x extreme.... Many of them will hit 4-4.2ghz on average just upping the multi alone without tweaking any of the voltage settings or messing with qpi or ram settings.
