Alienware Aurora - Graphics Upgrade ?

What's the maximum length of graphics card PCB that will fit comfortably in the Aurora chassis ?

I currently have a GTX260, which shipped with the machine, but was thinking of upgrading to a DX11-capable card in the near future.

I removed the side panel of the PC and measured the length of the GTX260 and it was approx 9"; some newer cards are slightly longer.

As the card seemed to be right up against a 'conduit' which housed a load of wiring, I doubted whether anything longer would fit in.

Can anyone confirm whether a longer card would be OK ?

Has anyone replaced one before ?

Cheers.

I fit a BFG GTX 275 OC in there just fine. Hope this helps by giving you a reference.

A 5870 fits also.

As well as a 5870 or a GTX480.

My 5850 fit great . The only problem I may have in the future is the card is thick and covers the other slots .

Aye I have dual graphic cards that are the x2 size taking up 4 slots...I'm pretty sad without a sound card as a result
