Alienware Laptop not offering highest resolutions - 1080 is missing
I've had to do a fresh install on an Alienware 17, with the FHD 1080p screen, but windows only recognizes it as a 1600x900 screen. Is there a monitor driver I can get to let windows know I should be able to use 1920x1080?

Click on Support on the top of this page and then enter service tag to find all the drivers for your notebook. If this resolution is possible then the drivers should be located there.

Make sure both video cards are recognized in the device manager and that both drivers are installed; you shouldn’t need any other drivers than those.
