Alienware M11x power brick P2PCP way too hot
Hello,
I've got an m11x R3 and the power brick is really, really hot. It doesn't make sense for a 90W adapter to be putting out probably 100W of heat! Its out of warranty but has been nearly this hot from the start. I'm worried now its becoming dangerous and I've burnt myself on it. I can't afford a replacement, but I can't even contact support because its out of warranty.
What should I do?

Hi,
Unfortunately, if the system is already out of warranty the replacement for the part can't be covered. If you wish to replace the AC adapter, I recommend you check the 90W Dell Slim Power Adapter available at the Dell Store. These adapters are fully compatible with the all M11X models.
