Alienware M17XR5 Laptop - Screen Fault/Flickering

Hey,

Bought new Alienware M17XR5 laptop in November 2013. 
It's January 2014 and I think the screen has broken.

I was watching a movie yesterday, like I've done many times over since buying it and halfway through; the pixels for certain colours have randomly started flickering and haven't stopped since.

I've tried:
- Rebooting/shutting down for long time.
- With/without the power-lead.
- Updating graphics drivers
- Viewing through an external monitor/TV (it views fine on the external devices).

My guess is that it's a fault in the hardware, the actual screen, but I'm no IT-wizard! 

When I've tried to go through the links with my service code to get to some technical help by the chat/email/number, it keeps saying my service code is wrong....but this website detected it itself anyway and I've double checked it - is right. 

So anyone know what caused this, how to fix it, or any contact details for technical support please?
