Alienware M17x HDD upgrade
I was just given a 2009 M17x and wondering if it will support upgrading the hard drives to solid state. I was told it may be too old and that if I did upgrade I had to upgrade both hard drives that came from the same company. Any advice or direction is greatly appreciated.

Yes this laptop will support solid states drives, actually back then we sale them with Solid state drives of 128GB and 256GB.
And no they don’t need to come from the same company.
