Alienware alpha CPU upgrade
Hey, i would like to upgrade my i3 alpha to an i7 prossesor.
I can't find an T or S series. I want to upgrade to a i7 4790 3.6@4.0 ghz it has a tpd of 84w. Will it works? Will i have downclocking? If i has downclock, which will be the real clock speed?

Hi,
We do not officially support that upgrade. However, we've seen other users with it installed. Nevertheless, they have had to change the power supply to a bigger one to achieve this.
