Alienware x51 CPU Upgrade
Hi Everyone, I have a x51, I was wondering if I could upgrade the cpu, here are my pc specs, thank you:
1GB GDDR5 NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 555
16GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz (2 DIMMS)
3rd Gen Intel® Core™ i7-3770 (3.4GHz, 8MB Cache, w/ Hyper-Threading and Turbo Boost 2.0)

You can switch cpu's yes
The x51 motherboard bios restricts you from overclocking though. Can i ask which cpu you want to get? Because the i7 you have is basically one of the fastest/best cpu's on the market right now.
