Alienware x51: Lights not working
I have an Alienware x51 (early 2012) desktop which i have a minor problem with. For quite some time the lights on both the sides and the skull in the front are not lighting up. When i start the computer the lights flicker white for a second before they turn off. I can hear the beep while the computer is booting up. I have tried many different things with no result:
-Reinstalling Command Center
-Updating all drivers + BIOS
-Drain power from the computer before starting up
I have read that rightclicking the icon for alienfx and dimming the lights twice would work, but when i rightclick the icon there are no options coming up. Help is appreciated!

Open up your case make sure the lighting cable is attached properly with the cable. This happen to my new X51 R2 when I bought it..Led lights are mess up did the software troubleshooting to no avail. Open up the case and wiring is loose which connect to side panel;..No harm in trying..

Sadly this did not fix it. My cables are connected properly. Still looking for help!
