Alienware x51 and 3D Blu-ray Movies Out of Sync

This has happened to my stock x51 and after a few mods. My current set up is the 2600 version, 8GB Ram, 256GB SSD Crucial M4 and a Galaxy GTX670. I'm using a 1.4 HDMI cable routed to my Sony XBR-46HX929. I first tried out PowerDVD but my 3D blu ray movies were way out of sync. I switched to WinDVD and the sync issues have improved some but still I notice from time the video and audio being out of sync. I'm watching retail 3d blu ray movies. Has anyone else noticed any issues when watching 3D blu ray movies? Any ideas what the issue could be? Thanks
