Generally, adding a video card does not void the warranty. There are some exceptions =
* You broke the motherboard slot or motherboard itself while attempting the installation
* You modified the chassis in some way
* You ripped or tore cabling while attempting the installation

On the USA site, none of the four configurations allow dual 1080. Only single, and only on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th builds. The UK site doesn't even list the 1080.

www.alienware.ca/.../desktops.aspx

scrolling down the list of Area 51 amenities, I see even 3x 1080's  and options for RAID HardDrives. (which by the way would be awesome.)

No idea. You will need to install it and the latest driver from Nvidia and let us all know.

Also I see one AW website that no longer offers 2x 1080 fe, as options when buying the 10 core processor extreme.  And theres one that does.  What is Happening there?

The Canadian site states, "Optional Triple NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 or Dual NVIDIA GTX Titan X graphics". And the same limitation as USA and UK sites, only single GTX 1070/1080. Nvidia stated that the maximum would be dual GTX 1070/1080, but we are not offering it at this time.
