Area-51 ship times.

I placed an order for an Area-51 with a GTX 980ti graphics card on July 27th. The configuration page said and still says that it should ship within 16-20 days but the delivery date I was given is August 28th. I've been keeping an eye on the Order Details page but it says it's still in Pre-Production.

This is my first time ordering from Alienware/Dell and I'm just wondering, now 23 days after I ordered it, what the delay is and why does it still say on the configuration page that it would ship in 16-20 days when it's obviously not the case. Is it actually going to get here by August 28th?
