Aurora R4 - PSU Air Space and Cooling Concern - Non Dell PSU
Dear fellow Aliens who have used and installed non-Dell PSU,
According to these sources,
https://community.dell.com/thread/12492
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Hm_AeDJSs8Y - 1:16 - onward, I can draw some conclusions:
We can install non-Dell PSU with:
1. Fan facing down,
2. No holes are drilled on the PSU cage.
3. Air gap for PSU breathing the size of human fingers (see the YouTube vid).
Now, my questions are:
1. Doesn't doing so cause the PSU to potentially overheat?
2. How do I hang the GPU upside down?
3. Do I need to use spacers to keep the air gap size constant?
4. Are there any ways to install such non-Dell PSU in an Aurora R4?
5. Is it possible to drill a large hole on the PSU cage?
The depicted PSU is Ocz 1250 Model OCZ-ZX1250W.
I plan to use Corsair RM 750X; both share the exactly same physical dimensions.
Thank you,

you don't need 5 answers friend, just one will do: pull the old out / put the new in / install it fan down and forget about it
my 1250 was pulled for a 1000, fan down / slide it in, screw it down in back and forget about it
if you need a short cable extension for the CPU 8pin, find it on eBAY
see this post, which has links to other posts

FYI: the forum changed recently, and old posts may have 'old' links to the old-style forum and may not work anymore
if a link is broken, highligh it > right-click it > copy it > paste it into google, find the search result:
Many of my old posts have links to other old posts that are now broken links due to this 'new forum', and the old links have to be searched on google or the post title (if given) has to be searched in this forum to find it
Install the PSU and forget about it, there are no concerns, no drilling required, disassembly required only
