BLUE SCREEN AND FUZZY SCREEN
Hi, my Alienware m17x r4 has started blue screening, and when I get it going most times everything looks fuzzy. Sometimes when starting all is OK, but mostly the screen looks fuzzy so much so that it is impossible to read. It sort of reminds me of how a 3D screen looks without glasses. I REFORMATTED THE MACHINE AND STILL THE SAME RESULT. Please help

Hi 1andonly,
Connect an external monitor and check the display on external monitor.
Also, while booting the computer tap F2 at Alienware logo and check the status of the screen in BIOS.
Run diagnostics on LCD. Restart the computer and tap F12 during startup.
Select Diagnostics and test LCD.

Thanks for the info and sorry it took so long.
This machine is still under warranty and eventually I phoned Dell.
The technician replaced the motherboard, graphics card and 1 of the memories and is now working perfectly.
