Bios A11 & i7 920 @ 4Ghz = Stable!
Hi everyone,
I have just tested the new Alienware aurora A11 Bios with my settings listed in my previous thread and I can tell you; it's stable :)
Appart from that, I haven't noticed any changes from the previous A10 Bios.

I'm running the stock 6gb 1333mhz RAM, didn't experience the BIOS recovery functionality yet but I'm sure it will be very handy for overclockers like me.

I know that HT and TB are different things. I just asked cuz imo the TB is more impotrant then HT when u're OCing a CPU...

Sorry to pull up an old thread, but I am using the same bios settings to get my 4.0Ghz overclock and on occasion I get a blue screen of death. I get error code Stop:0x0000001E (0xFFFFFFFFC0000005, oxFFFFF80003A9581F, 0X0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000). thats basically an undescriminate error code that I cant find a meaning for. My only guess would be to increase the V core a little more? I ran s stress test for 6 hours and it ran perfectly. Any advice?

My best bet would be to contact Microsoft on that. Those errors actually mean something and only MS can actually help.
Most of BSOD errors are because of some memory problem.
I have an Area-51 so I know it is a lot different especially if you have a different revision board. So please put up all your overclocking settings.
