Blu-Ray/AW2310 Compatibility Question
Try ordering the following combo on an Area-51:
Dual Drives: Blu-ray Disc (BD) Burner (Writes to DVD/CD/BD) and DVD-ROM [Included in Price]
23.0” Alienware AW2310 OptX™ Full HD Gaming Monitor, 3D capable
You'll get the following error:
"The Blu-ray Optical you have chosen is not compatible with your Monitor selection."
Now choose the same dual drive option and the following monitor:
24.0” Dell U2410 UltraSharp™ Full HD Monitor
and select the same AW2310 monitor as your Advance Display and... no error message.
That's what I did for my system. I've had no monitor or optical drive related problems so far. So what's up? Order it one way and it's ng, the other and it's fine. Can I expect a problem with 3D? Should I expect a problem in some unspecified situation?

Looks like the problem has been solved. No longer an incompatibility warning. The Blu-ray driver was update 6/10, so that may have been the issue.
